Arts Council England Emergency Response Fund

Access All Areas is pleased to announce that our application to Arts Council England’s Emergency Response Fund was successful and that the grant will assist us whilst the Covid19 pandemic limits practically all our live activity.

Restrictions on mass gatherings has put a stop to all festivals, melas, street events and performance in arts centres, theatres, village halls and community spaces for the foreseeable future. With the lockdown coming at the busiest season for many artists the results are catastrophic.

Thanks to the ACE funding we have been able to directly assist our worst affected artists, those from India who are experiencing insufferable hardship in their communities and have seen their UK summer tours cancelled.

The grant has also enabled the implementation of our own targeted recovery strategy, preparing the way to hit the ground running when eventually audiences are allowed to return safely and enjoy live performances once again.
