Africa Calling @ The Buttermarket, Shrewsbury

Sunday 8 July sees the inaugural event of the newly formed Friends of the Jazz and Roots Club, a whole day and night of Africa-based music, dance, workshops, cuisine, film and children’s activities in the Cellars and Lounge of the recently reopened Buttermarket.

Headline performances of Diabel Cissokho and his band in the evening and The Endless Journey in the day plus Alhousseinni Annivolla, Olagbula Kokumo, The Jaipur Kawa Brass Band playing during the event.
