Tibetans at WOMAD

On Friday BBC Radio 3 announced the Charlie Gillett stage line up on their ‘World on Three’ show.

Among the artists will be The Tibetan Monks of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery and Ngawang Lodup, who play on Sunday 31 July at 14.00.

This will be Ngawang’s second appearance on this WOMAD stage, last year his performance was broadcast simultaneously on Radio 3 and Radio 6, on shows hosted by Cerys Matthews, Lopa Kothari and Mary-Ann Kennedy.
